Are you guys stuck on having FH wedding band to match yours. My FH actually wants to match mine so I was thinking of getting 2 bands for him a plain band to wear everyday and one that matches mine (channel set) Not sure if he is really liking the channel set for him but he knows that's wat I want for me...What do you think?

At first I wanted mine and my FH bands to match, but its so hard to do that for a guy. I want an all diamond band I believe its called the Channel Band but it will look stupid if my FH's band has diamonds on it. So our will prob be a little different, but we are going to match it as close as we can

FH band will not match mine. His is going to be more simple with no diamonds and of course mine will have diamonds. Your band do not have to match unless you really want them too. You could always get him a plain band to start and then for a 5 year or 10 year anniversary buy him one to match yours.

no i dont care what he gets, it can be completely different if thats what he wants...Infact i saw this black diamond wedding band for him...He liked it but said he doesn't want it for a wedding band though, it was so nice

My wedding band is going to match my e-ring...

Yea thats our issue...Mine is going to be channel set to match my e-ring...his on the other hand will prob be plain or i saw this for him

Get two for yourself... one to match your e-ring and one to match his..
The plain ones are relatively inexpensive. IMO. And you can engrave them....

my fbil has two bands...one for work/every day and one for dressy occassions. his dress band has diamonds in it. he loves it!!
but my fh would hate wearing a ring w diamonds in it. i want channel set diamonds, so he is just going to get one that is the same style, just w/o the diamonds.
it depends on the guy. if your fh wants the diamonds, i think the 2 rings is a great idea!!

were doing black wedding bands..Mine is black eternity ring and his is titanium with a black line going through the middle

Ours are not gonna match at all. I dont think its all that important to match each other. Plus...we have completely different tastes with things like this so it would never work with us. He wants a Tungston band, and this is my band.......
I want his to match mine. My ring has the pave diamonds in my band (in one of my albums) and I don't want a diamond band because I don't think it will look right with the smaller diamonds. I would love just a plain platinum band. I did find a ring for FH that has small pave diamonds in the center, so then his ring would sort of match my engagement ring.
I always told him that if one of us lost our memory (God forbid) I want one of us to show each other our wedding rings and see that we have the same one. Sort of sad, but it would make a great movie!!

FH wants stainless steel and i dont like it as much ... I might just get a stainless steel one to wear when i am not wearing my e-ring

FH and I are surprising each other with the wedding bands that we choose. He won't know what band he has until I give it to him on our wedding day. We just wanted an extra something to look forward to and it won't be often that I'll get to surprise him with a ring.
