well, for totally plain, check out the price per gold and that will be a big determination and then the weight of the rings. for guys its always more of course cuz they have larger sizes plus larger widths. still though places can set their own prices but for plain rings, i was just shop around as much as possible because they cant claim they are the only ones to have the bands you are looking at. kwim
so really really roughly, yours might be like 200-300 and his might be 300 and up.

I got exactly this for FH- plain 14k white gold, 6mm band, size 13. I went to a jeweler down the block from my office in Midtown just on a whim (because it's harder to find something plain than you'd think.) I saw exactly what I was looking for and they were asking $400 for it, but I negotiated it down to $200. That's the absolute lowest price I'd seen anywhere.
