How much should we place in our budget for Wedding Bands? Is placed $500 for each of us - is that realistic?

It depends on what you're looking for... FH got a titanium band I think, and his ended up being about 350, mine however matches my e-ring and is studded with 4 very small diamonds and ended up being about 2500....
If you're looking at getting just a simple band you can def find something cheaper, it will just depend on the metal you're looking at getting.

It completely depends on what you guys want! At first DH wanted one with diamonds, then ended up getting a solid white gold band for $350. I wanted an eternity band (thin) that we got for $1000. If it wasn't eternity it wouldn't have been so much. Friends of ours got her DH a tungsten band for like $100.

It depends on what you are looking to get. You could definitely get a band for $500.
We budgeted $1500 for each of our rings and mine came in around that price - FH's might come out to be a little less.

that really depends on what you are looking at as a band our budget was 3000 because i wanted a custom made insert which thankfully we got a good deal on because I have been using the guy forever and that still rang in at 1750 which was less then others by 400-500 and fh ring came in at over 800 for a band with diamonds that looked like mine but still a mans ring.

my wedding band is over 2k bc i'm insane.
if you want something simple then you could fit it in under that.

Fh and i got both our bands for 700. Mine is 18K white with diamonds. His is 18K white with one diamond. ( we had a stone from the first ring he ever gave me and had it set in his ring.)
500 for both is definatly a doable budget... try Tri county. they have some beautiful bands there!

as others said, it depends what you're looking for ...
DH and I budgeted $1500 for rings and we spend a couple hundred than that.

FH is getting his custom made and if it were 14k, it would have been 350! He got a different metal, don't remember which one though.
We went to Romantic Jewelers in Plainview and Diane was incredibly helpful and we got an aaaamazing deal on mine and it's far from plain!

DH's ring was $200! He wanted a plain white gold band. I don't know nor do I want to know how much my rings cost.

FH and I already purchased our rings, we both got 2 each and the total came to $2000. It really depends what style you both want. FH got plain yellow gold and one made out of Tungston. I got one insert and then a platinum band with princess cut diamonds going halfway around.
