Wedding Bands

How much is custom to spend on wedding bands - I didn't realize how expensive they were! Where did you go to look?

Depends on what you're looking for, etc.

We went to the diamond district for ours and found an awesome deal!

FH got my ring at the diamond district - when we went to get our wedding bands, the store was closed - so we went to another place and found what we loved :) There's so many places there, that you can also negotiate a lot more than other places.

we got my ering there and are going back there for our wedding bands. Not only for the price but because they are so great to work with.

we got my ering there and are going back there for our wedding bands. Not only for the price but because they are so great to work with.

Im so bad at haggling...and so is FH - he'll think we got an amazing price and just say yes!!!!!

Believe it or not I bought my FH's wedding band at Filene's Basement. He wanted a titanium ring since he's a cop and wanted something durable. It was a little over $100, but he loves it and it looks really nice!

Are there still Filenes around? I thought we were supposed to go together for bands??? It would be cool to pick out on my own - but FH is so picky!

We went to Jared!! Lol fh bought my ring there...titanium and stainless steel are relatively cheap but a very nice look, but keep in mind it cannot be sized and if it gets stuck on an er visit will be in the works, lol I love my ring it compliments my ering and it was $269!!!! Fh was $99!!!!

my ring is my grandmothers wedding band, but we got FH's from our jeweler (he gets me all my jewelery from the same guy).

he ordered a custom 14k plain white gold band, and it was $300

FH got his at JCPenney..for $99
Mine is from Tri-County it was about $650

We are both happy with our rings

we set our budget for each ring at $1500. Mine came in at just around that and FH's came out to a lot less. We got my band at the same jeweler FH's purchased my e-ring (Louis Martin Jewelers in Rockafeller Centre) and we purchased his at Irish Tiger Imports on Grand Ave in Maspeth (he wanted a celtic wedding band).

Mine was around $1000 in the diamond district.
FH got a tungsten one with 3 diamonds at Barclay Jewelers for around $400.

Had my insert made by kristins in bay shore fh got his band at tri county and i got a single band made there as well. Fh got a white gold band with diamonds to match mine for 800 and the ring is heavy he got a two tone everyday band for like 250
