WEDDING BANDS

i got mine done at Elsa in Farmingdale

my e-ring was IMPOSSIBLE to find a band for

so we had it custom made

we gave them the budget, and they got it done for the price we wanted ( $ 5 dollars under lol)

it should be done by next week

Does anyone know of a place that can do a mold of my ring to make a band for me. For a reasonable price?

Elsa's the only one we could find that would do the actual mold. FYI you have to leave a $200 deposit before they'll do the mold for you.

they have someone sit right there and look at your ring and start whittling a mold out of wax

you'll need several appointments

i would suggest you go and tell em what you want and your time frame

we started this process in august, but i had time

im sure if you needed it sooner they could make it happen.

I warn you, they are smooth talkers lol, just make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing ( not that we've had a problem)

when i finally got the metal mold back, i was thrilled, im just waiting for the filigree and the diamonds to be set :)

severalllll appointments?? can I just get the metal mold and have my jewler set the diamonds ?? or do i have to do everything through them.. Im going to try to contact them now Well My budget for this ring is only 1000 because I already have another band but I want 2 bands.. So before I contact them do you think that budget is even reasonable or should I just not waste my time

just call them, tell then what you are thinking and they will tell you

they may not quote you over the phone, they will probably require an appointment


the reason you have to keep going back is because you have to approve each step.

they wont move on until you've approved every step

I know i heard of this guy out east who does custom stuff for a great rate...but ill have to find the old post,...

At a showcase, they told me that they don't require the whole payment up front. Is this true?

yup you pay in pieces, as you approve each step

like 200 bucks at a time, then the balance when you get the ring
