FH and I are going to the city tomorrow to pick out wedding bands (same jeweler that did my engagment ring). Curious what the average cost has been for everyone's bands?

mine was 1200 for a 1.2 ct. eternity band
I went to like 4 places and priced out and got quoted like $800 for .6 carats which wasn't that good of a deal, $1000 for .8 carats, and like $2200 for 1.3 so this was the best price I got... We went to tri county

yeah that should be good.. my FH's band was only $100 lol...you definitely get some weird prices, but if your jeweler quotes you more than you expected, you can always negotiate and tell him you'll give him $1500 for both or you'll go elsewhere lol... My friend did that and saved like $200, but it's kinda ballsy

Mine was $900 for I think .8 that goes 3/4 around and DH was $800 for white gold. More than I wante to spend on either but he told me that this was an important part of the wedding to splurge on because we will have them forever so I agreed.

Definitely an important splurge since I don't believe in upgrading a ring. We got platinum rings and spent $3500 for both. My husband got a thick band and he has a large ring size, his ring was more than mine.

I don't even want to say how much my band cost us. We also splurged on this because I, like Sandr325, do not believe in upgrading a ring.

it really depends on if there's any diamonds in it - mens bands in particular without diamonds will be much cheaper (a few hundred each)

My jeweler gave my wedding band to us at cost since we bought my ering there. I got a half band of diamond baguettes in platinum 2.5 cts and we paid 1300. Depends on your jeweler and relationship. If you can get something at cost price it doesn't hurt to ask!

My fiance wants a tungtson ring-they are soo cheap!! So more money for me to spend on my wedding band. I would like an eternity band also-I need to try some one because my ring is a shank cushion cut so I'm not sure what will fit and/or look good w/ it. I def don't want one to match w/ my ring I want it to look a little different.

My fiancé paid a little under 4000 for my eternity band. It would have been more but the jeweler gave him a discount for buying my engagement ring, along with our bands there. We were both kind of shocked at how much it was, and when I tried looking around for something cheaper, my fiancé felt bad that I was 'settling' as he puts it, and bought me the original ring.

The band I looked at was a little over $1,200. It was from the same jeweler who made my engagement ring. Not getting it until the summer though!

Mine was 1400 for a white gold band w diamonds 3/4 way around.
We did get it on sale so minus 300!

I think ours will be a little less then $700 with warranties! the ring that matches mine is $450 & fh found one he likes for $99! I wish it was lesshonestly bc he said he isn't going to wear it, he will put it on a vchain he didn't like rings.
