wedding bands

I have a nosy question... how much is everyone's wedding bands? I am looking for a diamond eternity band, and do not know what the 'right' price should be around. There are so many different prices! I don't want to spend too much! You can fm me... thanks!

I was just about to send you an FM offering up my spreadsheet - until I read your post again. I'm such an idiot - I almost sent you prices on MUSIC bands not wedding rings!

I have a GREAT referral for a jeweler if you need one. He does amazing work and his prices are riduculously cheap! My e-ring appraised for almost 2X what FH paid for it!

Mine is a platinum band with alternating diamonds and baquettes going about 3/4 of the way around and it's 1/2 ct. and it's almost $900. My aunt is a jeweler so I'm not paying that much

I have a platnum eternity band and I paid about 995 for it. If you register at fortunoffs, they give you 10% off your wedding bands. It saves you the tax basically.

I looked at some with my MOH who wanted one. The one I liked was $60,000. LOL
At tri-county they quoted us about $8000 for garbage, about 3 carats of bad quality diamonds.

It all depends on the carat weight in the eternity band and the size that the ring needs to be made...I got 1.30 carats in a size 5.5 eternity band set in white gold (even though my E ring is platinum) and we only paid about $1k....

Its a gold ring with diamonds spaced out all around it.

This is the one i am getting -
The prices we found -

Tiffany - $1500 +tax
Fortunoff - $1095 -10% + tax
My Jeweler - $550 including tax

I suggest if you find a design that you really like try taking the pic to a jeweler to see if they can give you a better price

The one I am getting is about 2500-3K. I am a size 4.25 and the diamonds are about .28 each. Good thing I have a small finger

I also am getting an eternity band with a shared prong setting. We are going to look in the next week and I will let you know prices. But my jewler already said it depends on the quality of diamonds and the size and total weight. Are you looking for a small dainty eternity band or a larger one?

Ours are custom design bands, so we paid for the fabrication & such. They are both platinum & yellow gold, but I have alexandrite & amythyst (our birthstones) in mine, the total for both with the fabrication & tax came to $1480.

Mine is about $1600 I think, for 7 diamonds (.20 ct each) set in white gold.

I won't even say how much we spent on mine but I have 4.5 carats in total.. it consists of a row of diamond baguettes and 2 rows of round pronged diamonds in a platinum setting.. =) LOVE it.
