Last night we went to go see East Coast Band play since we are looking for a band for our wedding. I wasn't crazy about them and I had heard such good things. It seems like the bands we've seen so far just doesn't cut it. I don't know if we are just being picky but the live music aspect is important to us.
We still are gonna go see Code Bleu, Heart and Soul, and maybe the Naked Truth play so hopefully we'll like one of them and the price will be right. Are any of you girls looking to hire a band? Can you recommend others or tell me anything about Code Bleu, Heart and Soul, or the Naked Truth? Thanks!

I looked into Vision....it's a Franklin Wayne band they're really good. We ended up booking NYC swing...they're amazing!!!! They have showcases in NYC.

FH and I went to see a bunch of bands and they weren't what we wanted. We ended up booking with Code Bleu. Don't get discouraged, you will know when you find the right band for you.

Went to see The Rhythm Shop and was blown away after seeing several where I was dissapointed. they are in NJ but travel

The only band of those that I've seen is Heart & Soul. They were good, but didn't fit the style that we were looking for. I've heard great things about Code Blue.. but we decided to book with Paris. They are freakin amazing! You should definitely consider them!

I saw body heat, christopher MIchaels, NYC Swing and none of them did it for me. We finally booked Soul Street. We saw them at a rehearsal in Manhattan and they had me up and dancing.

The better bands do not play showcases becasue they already have a following and get booked quickly.
