Wedding bands (rings)

Where did everybody order theirs and FH's? And how much is everybody spending? I found one that i want but it's too much $

We purchased my wedding band at the same jeweler FH purchased my e-ring. We got it when they were having a sale on dimaond jewelry (including bands) so that helped take the price down some. It came in just at what we set the budget for ($1500).

As far as FH's ring, we might go tomorrow to look for it. He wants a celtic wedding band so we are going to check out this Irish import store in our neighborhood first to see if they have what he's looking for. The budget for his ring is also set at $1500 but I don't think it will cost that much - it all depends on what he gets and what metal he winds up going with. The choice is up to him.

FH and I got ours at the jewelry center in NJ so it probably doesn't help you much but it's a building with lots of booths (like a mini diamond district) so the prices are very competitive.

FBIL got FSIL's engagement ring there and I believe their wedding bands as well.

My ring is a low pave setting and i initially planned to get a band with a notch in it. FH got me the band but I didn't like how the notch showed very easily and decided I would wear my e ring on my right hand and the band on my left.



Even though they will be on separate hands, I wanted them to look like they would go together and 'feel' the same

I love the band and the detail, and the price was way better than I got anywhere else for the same style/quality. we got it for 1000. They gave us a deal because FH also got his band the same day

We're actually going to check out the Jewelry Exchange upstairs in Tri-County. Some friends of ours got their bands there and they are really nice, they said they had the best prices too.

If we don't like anything there we are going to go to the jeweler FH used to custom make my e-ring.

Anthony is fantastic and really helped us out! Gave us a great deal and the customer service is fantastic. If you dont want to head into the city to pay in cash, he lets you go to his house in Bellmore instead.

Well, we do have great taste

They had all different variations of this band. Thicker, eternity, only half way around, etc. I've always loved that look and FH and I shopped around and this was best price by far

I got my insert custom made at a jeweler for 2400 but I have a second simpler band from tri county for like 500 and fh got both his matching diamond wedding band for 900 and his simpler everday wedding band for 300 at tri county

I would try tri county

I fell in love with one that was 5K Needless to say that didn't happen. I ended up getting mine at Jared for 800. FHs is from Littman in the mall, his was 350

How many carats is that band? and what metal is it?

we're getting matching Lucida bands from Tiffany & Co. I have super tiny fingers (41/2) so I'm thinking about getting the 2mm which is $900, and FH would get the 4.5 mm (since it's the only ring he would be wearing) that is $1525.
