Wedding bands (that you wear on your finger LOL)

Ok, so I might be totally skeptical, but I'm weary about buying a band with a high carat count b/c i'm nervous it's not actually what the jeweler says it is. Like how do you know the jeweler is telling the truth about the band, especially if it's one that is made by the jeweler? Again, this is probably just me being crazy but I don't want to get scruuuued. I don't want to be surprised when I get it appraised!

I'd call an independent apprasier and ask their advice.

Also, a reputable jeweler will have a return policy. So if you purchase, and upon appraisal you find out it's not what you expected, you can take it back. Good jewelers aren't out to get your money for something you aren't getting, they're out to make a profit on good items. I think as long as you go to someone reputable (get recs and check BBB ratings) you'll be okay.
