I've started to think about what I might want for a wedding band. My ring is very simple, just a white gold band with a princess cut solitaire (I HEART IT!)... but I think I might want something that's a little more exciting for a band, but still simple and classic (if that's even possible). I'm really loving the way diamond and sapphire bands look, but I have a few hesitations.... Is it too trendy and will it look dumn in 20 years... will it even look good with my very simple e-ring?
Honest opinions PLEASE!!!
What my e-ring looks like....
Some variation of what I would want (although I LOVE this design!)

Re: Wedding Bands (the rings, not the music!!!)
i think if you love it (and personally, i do too), then who cares if it's trendy. Chances are 10 years from now you are still going to love it just the same.
You don't want to look back and go - i wish i got that band....get the band you LOVE & be happy with it!!!!

the band is really pretty! if you love it, that's what you should go for. the good thing about a solitaire ering, is that you can really get any type of wedding band you like!

You're so right! I was asking FH what he thought and he said it didn't matter... I have to love it and wear it, God willing, for the next 70 years!

I haven't tried anything on yet... and I think that's where my apprehension is coming from... I can't picture it, so I'm going to have to get some diamonds and sapphires on my hand to get a visual!

First off, I think it's gorgeous. Second, as far as sapphires being 'trendy', I don't think so at all, because if you look at alot of antique e-rings, ALOT of actual vintage ones from like the 20s and 30s have sapphires in them, so I think it's one of those jewels that stands the test of time....just like diamonds.

I think once you see it, you'll love it even more! I have a fake sapphire ring from when I was a kid, and I always try it on with my e-ring, and mine is plain solitare .. It really makes it look awesome!

NOTHING trendy about it.
Someone mentioned it above. Many antique e-rings and bands had sapphires, rubies, and emeralds in them.
Those jewels have been around for eons. I think that band is classic and super elegant.

I think it will look great and timeless which is important! I definitely recommend going to try it on because I thought anything would look good with my solitare but the high setting that I have made it kind of hard to decide on a band.

I could be biased b/c my e-ring has sapphires but I love something a little different. I don't really consider it trendy, I actually really like the band you posted.
