Where did you get your band and if you don't mind, how much did it cost?
i need ideas of where to go -- so far i've been to fortunoff.

I got mine from Pico jewelers in the Diamond District on 46th St. We got DH's wedding band there as well as my engagement ring.

I wasted so much time searching high and low. Just go to the diamond district in the city on 47th. We got both of ours in the 5th store we went to. Best selection, diamonds, and prices. Mine is a .8 tcw princess channel set diamond band $675 and his is a 14K white gold 7mm thick (I think something like that) for $290. HTH good luck and have fun

Another place you can look is in the Bowery, they have a ton of jewelry stores (that's where FH got my e-ring).

I've heard from two people that Fortunoff had the best prices on rings. However, I went to Major Jewler's in the Smithhaven Mall. My sister used them and is very happy them. My fiance and I went in the other day and got great deals. We picked out more expensive rings because it is what we liked, but they had lots to look at!

Our bands came from the Diamond District (Hanikan Jewelers at 66 W. 44th). I dont know how much mine was, but his white gold band was $300 or so.

Got ours from New York Jewelers in the Tangers Mall in Riverhead. Very reasonable, < $1K for both.
