Wedding Banners

Wedding Banners

I already have 2 flower girls but I wanted to include all of my nieces in my wedding party because they are all my babies LOL. I am going to have 4 girls carry a banner but instead of the usual 'Here Comes The Bride', anyone have any other ideas of what the banner could say?

I am thinking of having them walk out first to signal to the guests that the wedding is starting...

Well you could have 2 carry a sign that says 'Run 'FH' Run'

And then 2 more behind them with 'Too late, Here comes the bride'

I think that is hilarious!! But, I am pretty sure that would piss my MIL off because she is all about the ceremony being 'serious' LOL

I know, me too. I think FH and people our age would laugh, but the rest of the aunt and uncles would think it was sacreligous. Also, the priest already told us he expects us to take the ceremony seriously (since he knows us).

Sux too because I wanted to yell 'wonder twin powers, ACTIVATE' when we exchanged rings.

What about if you have each girl carry a sign....Here....Comes....the....Bride

LOL that is too funny. My FH and I and all our friends are jokers too but like you said I don't know how the older crowd would take it.

The idea of each girl holding a banner is cute but I don't want to drag out the procession. We have 15 groomsmen so I am trying to cut back on the time.

BTW..we are hall twins! YAY!

I hear ya but I already have 2 flower girls, my daughter and my FH's only girl cousin, and I do not want to take away from them by adding 4 more girls to the mix.

I am really considering having them walk out before everyone with a banner saying 'The Ceremony Will Now Begin' or something to that effect I just am not crazy about the wording and how it sounds.

Something with your monogram perhaps?

Or maybe something like 'Soon to be Mrs. XYZ'

Re: Wedding Banners

we had all the GM's and BM's go down separately, so I got a sign that said 'here comes the bridesmaids' for my nephew. He had just turned 2 and I wanted him to walk down with his dad (the last GM to go down the aisle). We called him a 'herald' in the programs since he was heralding the coming of the BM's

I had a sign made that says, 'Keith.... Last chance to Run' just thought it was an alternative to the 'here comes the bride' and will be a little comedic relief before I walk down the aisle lol...

we have 4 flowergirls also.

we aren't doing a sign though. My mom laughed at me when I showed her the 'here comes the bride' sign. She's like 'dont you think people already know you are coming down the aisle? You need an announcement?!' lol

I am not sure what your faith is, but it might be nice to have each one have a different line of 1 Corinthians..Like 'love is patient,' 'love is kind'
