wedding blues....

I really think that my FMIL and her husband (not FH father) are not going to show up at our wedding!
I asked her if she was going to come and she said YES, but 3 days after that....she pulled a no show for our engagement party...
they aren't contributing or helping plan anything that has to do with the wedding, it's FH and I and my parents... they are basically just going to show up (or so I hope)
I don't dislike them, but we don't see eye to eye on all, but I've learned to tolerate it and take it with a grain of salt...
I don't know what to do and FH gets upset when I bring it up...

I wouldn't stress about that now, if they aren't contributing then just wait and see when you do your invitations if they are coming or not.

I agree - don't stress - send out the invitation. After the reply date contact her for a yes or no if she doesn't respond. If she doesn't show up there's not much you can do except put it past you and enjoy your day. It's going to be a wonderful celebration and if they can't be happy enough to enjoy spending it with you then you're better off without them. Maybe your mom would like to step in for a dance with your FH at the reception to cheer him up a little of his mom is a no show.

I'm not letting it get to me too much-I guess I'm upset FOR my FH because his family has shown no interest at all about the wedding...
I'm going to enjoy my day regardless if they show or not--but I will be pist off if they don't come and i'm 95% sure they won't....
