Wedding blues...

Im so tired of wedding planning. I feel like it would have been easier and waaaayyy cheaper to just elope. Fh sees me stressing out and he gets stressed out. I just wanna go to sleep and wake up on my wedding day. Better yet wake up on my honey moon lol. I know everyone feels this way at one point or another but im actually annoying myself with all this wedding talk with friends and family sorry for the rant

Wedding blues...

I was the same way a few months ago. It lasted awhile too. I was so busy between work and being engaged. Im getting back into it though but I also know there will be a break come September when I start teaching again.

I know how you feel. I allow myself to take breaks because if I didn't I would get stressed out too. I don't allow myself to get stressed out because I want the planning process to be fun. My motivation is high because I continue to think about how wonderful it will be to marry my best friend in front of our family and friends. Good Luck with everything and feel better! It will all work out.

I feel ya. It comes and goes. Take a break if you can. When someone brings it up, just tell them that planning is fun, but you're taking a break from talking about everything.

You'll come back around! Feel better.

You know what I think? You need a wedding free vacation...just for a week or two. FI and I started to bickering over little dets and realized we were burning ourselves out. On your weding free vacation I demand that you don't do or think about anything wedding related. It'll be better for you, you'll come back with a fresh set of eyes refocused
Also important to realize, don't sweat the small stuff at the end of the day no one will even notice it this supposed to be a fun happy time.
And don't worry it's common feeling vent away. Sending big hugz your way!

Been there. I sporadically think about the cost of the wedding and get so stressed out and say F it all, I just want to elope.

I felt this way last week. I gave myself a break from wedding planning. I didn't speak about the wedding for a week. And I didn't go on any wedding websites either. I felt great after a week and want to plan again. I'm sure i'll feel that way again at some point and then I'll jsut take another break

just had this convo with FH because he didn't really care about many things as much as i did...and he supported me 100% in whatever i wanted to do, but when i complain that it's getting expensive or im stressed he sorta implies 'well you made it that way...i was happy with bare minimums'...and i said 'but you didn't stop me or tell me otherwise'...just gets frustrating a bit...but u gotta brush it off

I agree
Money is a huge stressful factor. Way I see it, I'm already in for a few g's with all the deposits I've paid by now -- it's too late to turn back now, so instead of stressing it, enjoy it! Regret get us no where now lol

Its definitely a brain fryer...just last night I said I need a no wedding zone so I can take a step back. I hope you get a chance to just mentally escape it for a few days...and as you can read from everyones posts remember you are not alone

Take a break. don't do anything for the wedding and don't even talk about it with anyone for a while. It helps.
