Re: Weddin gbooks

I picked myself up this binder...it's purple, and HUGE... it just says 'wedding orginizer' on the front...not only does it orginize everything with tabs and all that, but it also gives TONS of wedding ideas, help, checklists, etc etc. EVERYTHING you can think of is in that book. Check out a book store and you have your pick of TONS!

Re: Wedding books

My friend who was just married a few weeks ago bought the Martha Stewart wedding planner book a while ago and she bought me one, too. It has some helpful suggestions and a place to keep business cards of vendors. I could probably use it more but I have not been as organized as I'd like to be with this planning! I'm getting better, though.

I don't know if the special is still running, but at JCPenney if you sign up for their registry and you place atleast five items on there, you are eligible for a free planner.

I thought, well hey, it's free and it wouldn't hurt to have an addtional registry. I was expecting it to be on the cheap side. Well, when I went to pick it up, it came in a beautiful purple bag and the book is huge with a lot of pages and details. The book looks like I paid more than $30 for it.

So, check that out!!

Well, besides that one, I recommend the Easy Wedding Planner, Organizer and Keepsake book. Man, I bought about 4 wedding planning books!

I liked BRIDAL BARGAINS .

Budget Tip #1: Read all the wedding books in Borders. Put it all back on the shelf, go to the cafe, and write it all down. There's nothing so groundbreaking in any of them that you won't remember it for half an hour.

Budget Tip #2: Check the local library. I found the vintage wedding books very inspiring.

Budget Tip #3: Save all the folders you get at bridal showcases, toss the contents from vendors you don't like, and voila - planning folder.
