JMO but I LOVE the way blues and purples look with black- there's something about that color combination that just makes everything POP!!! Plus it might be nice since you have that little bit of blue in your dress.

I always liked bright flowers how about each girl holding another bright color bouquet. One can be bright orange, one a purple, one red. something like that. And they will never be able to get there flowers mixed up

i have just decided this same thing. i am also getting married in august. i have decided to go with pale pale pink, blush, cream, white roses, peonies, hydrangea and some greens. for summer there is the whole vibrant summer colors or the crisper summer shades.

I am getting married this August; my bridesmaids are wearing black and I am getting married at 7 pm. I decided that I wanted not only vibrant colors but sunset like colors. The colors I plan on using are red, yellow, orange and a fuschia. There is a type of calla lily that I really like that I think I may use for the bouquet.
