Wedding Brunch

Hello everyone. I wanted to get some feedback on what everyone thought about whether or not it is a good idea to have a wedding brunch instead of a wedding reception(4 course meal). Any thoughts would be greatly appreciative. I would like to invite everyone to my wedding but it's not possible. So i was thinking about a wedding brunch to save some money. It's very difficult to cut people our of your list.
