What kind of cake, filling, and icing are you going to have?

we are going to have a chocolate cake with a strawberry filling. i'm not sure what icing we will have either buttercream or fondant.

I want the inside to be like a rainbow cookie. I normally hate bakery cakes but if it was a rainbow cookie cake, I'd eat it!! Not sure about the outside though. I hate buttercream, it'll be too warm for whipped, and I'm not sure what fondant tastes like. I hope my bakery has tastings!

Wow! I haven't even begun thinking about the cake. I have some ideas of what I would like it to look like but I haven't thought about fillings. i feel like most people don't even eat the cake.

White Icing Red velvet inside but since FH doesn't like cream cheese filling we are doing red velvet with white chocolate mousse.

i want red velvet - chocolate mousse sounds great - but i like cream cheese too - we'll see - RH includes our custom cake for free - and i heard they offer red velvet for no extra charge!

I have to go do a tasting so i'm not exactly sure what i want but i also want each tier to be different. FH's niece can't have chocolate but i want something chocolate in the cake. So i want different flavors in each tier.

That's what we want. Rainbow cookie with fondant.

our bakery is delish!! ive been going there since i was a little baby for all of our cakes!

strawberry short cake, red velvet for FH groom cake, black cake for my family and VH

I'm going to leave that up to fh... I pretty much like everything and he's a little picky. I know we both hate fondant though, that's a definite no for our cake.

Thanks, yeah our theme is all white with accents of red so I thought the red velvet cake would be a nice touch!

Not sure yet......have different ideas but, no fondant!!!
If I can get a rainbow cookie cake that would be great, plus we were thinking about doing the icing chocolate.
Another option choclate cake with strawberries.
The other with canoli filling, we'll see when the time comes.
