Any recommendations for a wedding cake? Style, taste, best bakery? What works...what doesn't?

Black Forest Bakery in Lindenhurst. I know Timber Point CC uses them for their cakes. I've gone there for regular cakes and they are delicious!
also Audrey's is good

We used Francesco's in Hicksville and they were awesome-- he really worked with me when it came doing what i wanted, and not charging me an arm and a leg.... plus he was so nice!!!
but I also used Sweet Things in oceanside for my grooms cake-- and it was sooo delicious... try both!! ( you can see pics in my review)

we are using the house bakery-benkerts...we love them. we are going against fondont.....personally, we didnt like it. no one usually eats it anyway hth!!

My RH did my wedding cake. Here's the style. I forget what was in the cake, but it was DELICIOUS!!!
