Re: Wedding cake help ...
we get a cake too with our RH and FH doesnt like cake and for some reason we dont really even care about the cake. I know there are cakes that look and taste to die for but I honestly never paid attention to the cake at weddings so we will just take the one the provide us.

We are lucky that our hall has an amazing bakery on site so we don't have to pay a crazy amount for our cake. But we will pay prob. 300 extra for fondont (I want a pretty cake)

Re: Wedding cake help ...
We are most likely using the cake the hall provides us, if we decide to go outside it will all depend on the money situation. I love the look of fondant but it does taste nasty. But if I have an extra thousand to spend, I think I would rather put it elsewhere not towards the cake.

Re: Wedding cake help ...
My RH includes a cake from baked to perfection and said if I want add ons I can just pay for the add ons not a whole separate cake. I have no idea how much add ons cost though. I am having a tiffany blue themed wedding and I would like a 4 tier tiffany blue cake that with a white ribbon so that it looks like a present.

our hall provides a cake from Audreys Bakery. we also get a credit towards upgrades. its $1 per person attending (if 160 people come we get $160 worth of upgrades) i want my cake to look something like this except i'd lik eto add some red into it..
