Hey, my sister in law is getting married in June. She is getting diamond banding around the bottom of each tier on her cake. It will be 4 tiers. Her baker told her she will need 10 yds= 30 ft. Is this way too much? It is feeding 110 ppl.

My RH told me to buy 4 yards for my 5-tier cake. It wasn't enough, so the top tier didn't have any and one of the tiers it didn't go all the way around.

I purchased mine from a 2010 bride and she had a 5 tier cake and purchased 5 yards. She said it fit perfectly and had just enough for some bling to add to the bouquets.

I went to Hai's Trim on Wednesday and I purchased five yards of the rhinestone trim with four rows of crystals. I would like to have a five tier cake that's square. I hope that its enough.

It was $20 a yard. I bought five yards so it was $100. They charged me $8.00 tax so I paid $ 108 total.

It was supposed to be $22 a yard but I got them down to $20.
