Can you have a cake that is different flavors by tier? I love carrot cake but I am in the minority with that preference. FI and I are thinking of asking for a cake that is carrot on one tier, chocolate on another and then a third flavor. Anyone do this?
I did. We had one tier of chocolate and chocolate mousse and the rest of the cake was yellow cake with canolli and chocolate chips.
You can do whatever you want.....but my cake maker for example charges $50 for each 'additional' type of cake...so 3 tiers with 2 flavors would be an additional $50, 3 tiers would be $100 additional....because really they havce to make seperate batches and all...
