Has anyone bought their gown from thie Wedding Center in Commack. They are one of the few places on the island that carry Casablanca Bridal, and they have a dress that I just love, but I would like any opinions. If you did have a good experience with them, could I please have the name of the person that you delt with. Thanks

DO NOT get your gown there.. I was in a wedding last year and we got our bridesmaids gowns there.. They all came in STAINED, they had to return each gown about 3 times, then they kept reordering me the wrong size, first a 6 came in then an 18, they were rude.. They did not want to accomodate us at all for this mess. The alterations were another ordeal..I cant believe they are still in business, i think the owner is Bobby? its a woman, i cant stress enough how rude they were and how they didnt care the dresses were stained (and also different shades of purple when we all ordered at the same time)
I really had no problems with them. They were great and my dress came in early and it was much cheaper than anywhere else. I also got my alterations done there. They also were done in a timly manner and my dress was ready and pressed when I went to pick it up. I also got my bridemaids dresses there and my SIL dress came in wrong so they contacted Bari Jay and had it Fed Ex to the store to be picked up the next day. and this was 8 months before my wedding. You CAN NOT go there on a saturday. try to go during the week and it is alot better.

I didn't get my gown at the Wedding Center but I just wanted to add one thing - Their prices are cheaper but they do not have a cap on the price of alterations. I asked them about it and they said there is no way they could cap the cost because they have no way of knowing what alterations you will need. Everywhere I've gone has a cap on the alterations. My advice...Check out Burtons in Huntington (right near the Walt Whitman Mall on route 110). They can order pretty much any dress for you. Their prices are outstanding as is their service. They are definitely worth checking out - (631-424-3377).
I got my BM dresses there, and had a good experience. They were the cheapest. We ordered Bari Jay , and they came in 2 months. Most of my girls got there alterations elsewhere.
I also got my invitations there, and had NO problem.
My sister got here gown there and had no problem too. Hope that helps!! :)
I bought my bridal gown there. Also it came in so quick - within 2 months. I ordered my bridesmaid dresses there too. They came in and everything is fine. They took 2 1/2 months. I am in the process of having my alterations done. The alteration prices seem no more expensive than any other bridal place.
I have had no bad experiences either, my dress is from there and I got a great price and it came in in two months! (which is great since we ordered in Feb and the wedding is July)
My girls got there dresses there also and came in, within 2 months all the same color and clean. My BMs dresses have a 50 buck cap, and mine I will get my estimate on tuesday when I go.
I made sure all my girls went out and checked there dresses the day they arrived and made sure any time a dress was out of a bag that everything was clean and it wasen't a busy time. I have also had no problems with Bobbi, she is Bob's wife. She even special ordered me a cronline that was zippered b/c I hated the tie ones. And she ordered in it two sizes to make sure it was perfect.

I went to Bob At the wedding center and THREE WEEKS LATER my dress was in...
I just picked my BM dresses up on Saturday. THey were all in perfect condition and looked beautiful. The girl who helped us was very helpful. My only complaint was that it was soooo busy on Saturdays (but that is not their fault). I would definately try to go during th eweek but check the hours, I don't think they are open late.
Thanks to everyone for your input. It sounds like most had a good experience so I am going to check them out. I will just try to go at times that should not be so busy, definetly not on a Saturday.
