Has anyone had a good experience or at least a trouble free one? Thinking of ordering the bridesmaid dresses from there. Thanks..

If thats the one in Commack, I've heard nothing but bad things about them. I went there once to look at a few things and wasnt impressed.

I unfortunately cannot speak poorly enough about them!!!! they are rude and just awful to deal with...they do have amazing prices, but so does burtons and other places..avoid them if you can...it is rare that you will get positive feedback about them...just know there is a HUGE difference between the wedding center in commack and wedding world in commack...the center is the BAD one...HTH

Re: Wedding Center good experiences?
a lot of places will price match. i would not order from them.
however, my brother's ex-wife's brother's fiance, (still with me?) used them for bridesmaid dresses and my brother's ex said the experience was just fine. no complaints.

Re: Wedding Center good experiences?
I ordered my bridesmaids dresses at the wedding center, they were the cheapest by a lot. If you can get past the women who work there not being helpful I had no problems with them. We ordered the dresses and everything came in a month early with no problems. One thing though, I went there knowing exactly what I wanted so that may have helped. Good Luck!

Re: Wedding Center good experiences?
I ordered my wedding gown from them, and although I've read lots of negative comments about them on LIW, I don't really have anything bad to say about them except for their customer service. The salespeople could be abrupt at times, but they gave me the best price for my dress. My advice if you go to them is don't go during the weekend when it's a mad house there. Try to go on a weekday when it's slower and the salespeople will be much more relaxed and nicer.

Re: Wedding Center good experiences?
I ordered my bm dresses there. They had the best price and were convenient for my bp. I had absolutely no problems with them. They weren't the friendliest or the most helpful..but I actually wanted somewhere where I could try on the dresses without someone pressuring me to choose. My girls dresses came in EARLY and had no prolems.
I have chosen to have them altered elsewhere because I get the impression that this is where the problems begin!! HTH!

Re: Wedding Center good experiences?
Thanks so much for the replys. I am the MOB/WC and I have been up all night thinking about this but you girls have made me feel better. They carry Alvina Valenta and alor of places don't. My daughter and her MOH have picked out the dress and by far they are the cheapest. We just want to order the dresses from them and then the girls can get them altered wherever they choose. Thanks again (said with a sigh of relief). PS We know what you mean about the saleswomen. They are terrible. When my daughter was first lookiing for her gown we decided to try WC because of the large selection. The saleswoman actually made her cry! She didn't isten to anything my daughter was telling her.

Re: Wedding Center good experiences?
I ordered my BM dresses from them. I knew they were rude going into it so I didnt expect much. My sister had used them and thought they were rude but in the end there were no problems with the dresses. They were the cheapest so I figured I will use them and not expect much except the dresses I want to be ordered to come in on time and they did.

Not worth the gas to drive there IMO Yes , it may be cheaper ( many other places will price match) but they are rude, unorganized and not worth the hassle

Re: Wedding Center good experiences?
I actually got my wedding dress and BM dresses there and had no problems with either. I would suggest not going on a Saturday though as they were quite busy in the BM department. I had no problems with any of the staff either. They were always pleasant and the alterations were fine also.
