wedding center-if you had a bad experience with the alterations, please let me know what happened!

i've already picked up my dress from them and i have to start the fittings in august..I did plan on bringing it back to them, but if its going to be a bad decision, then i'll go somewhere else..
please share what happened!! fm me if you want!

If you're talking about the Wedding Center in Commack.... Yes, I had a NIGHTMARE with my alterations of a BM dress for my best friends wedding. FM me if you want details

I purchased a bridesmaid dress there and it was too big. The alterations were okay except in the bust and shoulders area (and I am not too small in the bust area!). It was so big in that area to begin with that they weren't able to take it in enough to fit properly and it was falling off my shoulders all night and everytime we bent over we were giving people a free show :) It was all of us for the most part that had the problems... they just ordered our dresses way too big. Even my friend who had hers altered by someone she knew still fit big on top after she altered it because there was just nothing else they could do...

Are you talking about the wedding center in Commack? If so, my friend purchased her wedding gown from there, because they had really good prices. But she specifically told them she wanted the dress to be 1 inch from the ground. She brought in her shoes and everything, so they would get it right. Needless to say, when she picked up her dress it was a good 7 inches off the ground.
Do a search here regarding the wedding center.

I am in my niece's wedding in june and we got our bridesmaids dresses there. it was a nightmare but i do not know if they are too blame or not, see... when i went to pick up my dress, i tried it on and it was see through, they said that they told us when we picked out the dresses that they were sheer and i told them that i was there and that you did not. then they said that it was the manufacturers fault but if we got our alternations done there they would SELL us a slip for half price. so i ended up taking my dress and getting it taken care of by the fabulous Gloria in Williston Park, she works miracles!!!
