so i ahev heard of numerous bad experiences there but never what the problem really was.
i went there today to look at BM dresses and the women were so nice and helpful, even helping me with color decsisons.
they told me they beat all prices...is it wise to buy from them and let them alter? maybe just buy and alter them somewhere else?

when I went there they weren't really helpful and were pretty rude. But it is nice to hear you had a good experience.

My sister had gotten her dress and our dresses there for her wedding this past october. I found that some of the people were very nice and other not so much.
i have decided to get my dresses there for my wedding in May. The prices ARE really good and as far as the alteration they did a real nice job on my sisters and ours for her wedding( she had no issues).
They could work on their professionalism though

we got our dresses there for my brother's wedding. My SIL had 5 of the 6 bridesmaids from out of town and they were very accommodating. The dresses came in faster than she was originally told. I did not have the alterations done there, I had them done closer to home.

I actually have my girls ordering their BM dresses there. I heard horrible things about them to and so far have been proven wrong. When they are busy they can get overwhelmed and nasty. The women we have dealt with have been helpful! They did offer the cheapest price and I wanted to save my girls money.

I have been there quite a few times, and i never had a problem. The ladies were always very nice & helpful to me. I would recommend going during the week and not on weekends b/c it is deff. a little hectic.

I had a great experience too; We went there to look at BM dreses & they were so kind to us & when I went to look at gowns the women were very helpeful. She picked out the PERFECT dress for me of which I'm order this month. I haven't had any bad experiences at all yet, and I hope to keep it that way.
I think it's like anything and anywhere else, there's always someone who ruins it for everyone else everywhere.

I got my gown from them, and didn't have a bad experience. They were nice to me and even ordered the dress I wanted even though they didn't have it as one of their samples, and they gave me a lower price than it had been at another bridal salon. The only problem I had was the dress came in a month or two later than it was supposed to, and sometime they were a little rude when I called to find out if it was in yet. I did notice that if I called or went there on a weekday, they tended to be nicer and more helpful than on a weekend or evening, when they were swamped. I didn't have my dress altered there, though, so I can't tell you how their prices for that are. I also got my invitations there, and I can only say good things about the women in that department. They were very patient and helpful. I really think it depends on how busy they are and who you deal with while your there.

thats kind of what i was figuring about the customer service, when its busy they tend to be a little meaner.
i've worked with burtons for 2 weddings and i always went on a saturday and the ladies were so b*tchy. i went yesterday afternoon when no one else was there and she was a total sweetheart so i just figured when its busy the women get a little frustrated and snippy...then again i get the same way when i am swamped!

I got my gown from them and they were very very nice and very patient... MY BF is getting married in March and all of her bridemaids dresses were ordered through them and we have not had any problems.. the ladies were very nice and helpful. I think sometimes people come off as not nice when the place is extremly busy and the women are under alot of stress.. which I have seen but nothing personal. And there prices are great!

I got mine from there and Regina was so helpful. I went back in a few weeks later to show some people my dress and was lady was extremly rude-I guess it depends on who you talk with tere. Their prices are really good though.

My girls bought their bm dresses there and they def got the best price. They had them altered elsewhere. I was happy with their selection and pricing. Everything came in right and EARLY! good luck!
