Anyone using the wedding center in commack for bridesmaid dresses?
They told me they could beat any price I give them for a dress and they honored it but I have heard bad things about getting dresses altered there. Any feedback would be great?

I have heard bad things as well. However, I was in a wedding 3 years ago and she got our dresses there and I got mine altered there with no problem. You could always get the dresses there and then take it somewhere else to get altered. Hope this helps.

I think the only issue with their alterations department is that there is no cap on the pricing. They will allow you to use an outside tailer for alterations if you choose to though.

I had a bad experience for my cousins wedding about 4 years ago. They never placed the final dress order for me (they say it was because they were told from the bride that one more BM was going to place a dress order and wanted to wait for the whole order before submitting it).
I was in college at the time and was flying in for the wedding just for the weekend. I realized about 3 weeks before the wedding I never got a call from them to come in for alterations. Long story short I called them and they had to put a rush on the order.
The dress was by no means cheap and the alterations were done on a rush (obviously). They made me order wayyy too big of a size and the alterations were sloppy.
I would not recommend them, Granted everything that went wrong might have not been there fault- but they were not professional about it.

I had a bad experience there. As soon as I walked in they said 'just so you know, we close in an hour' not hello. Also, I heard one of the women being nasty to a customer on the phone when I was waiting for my MOH to try on dresses. I just felt uncomfortable the whole time. Most stores will price match.

I've been on this site for over 2 years. I've seen mostly negative reviews.

I had a VERY rude phone conversation with them. because of this I woudln't ever give them my business.
I also hear a lot of bad things about them on here. I'd steer clear.

I might be in the minority here, but check out my wedding review from July 10th. I used them for my BM dresses and everything was great! Yes the customer service is not the best AT ALL, but if you can look past that, the prices really are the best! Hope that helps!
