I am looking to start the search for Bridesmaid dresses this weekend and was thinking about visiting one of these two. I know one of them is not reccommended by most girls --- which is the good one? The one without 'Bob'??

Wedding Center is the one with Bob and while yes he is very annoying, I did get my bridesmaid dresses through them because their prices really were better than other places. They also had a huge selection. If you are only looking at bridesmaid dresses there you really won't have any dealings with Bob. We spoke to him about photography and I wanted to strangle him. However, his daughter helped us with the dresses and she was wonderful, patient and very helpful even though the place was mobbed.
Although the people at Wedding World were nicer, I felt that they didn't have as much of a selection. You could order dresses from them that you see in catalogues, but Wedding Center had almost every dress on their rack in one color and one size.

I am very happy with the Wedding Center so far, but yes, Bob is annoying. They do have a lot of BM dresses and very reasonable...my girls got theirs from there and everything came in just as we ordered. Good luck!

for my friends wedding we went to wedding center (if thats the one in commack) tons of dresses, the prices are better than most places....but services isnt at the top of their list. i didnt have any problems with anything though....so i hth.

Go to WEDDING WORLD. The bridal gowns and bridesmaids gowns are from Helens inside of there.

ok i hate wedding center but....they have alot more sample dresses than helens at wedding world....id go look but def buy from weddign world they are so much nicer to deal with!!! i was at wedding center 2 times and was PISSEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD when i walked out they are all pushy and nasty there

I heard bad things about Wedding center but Wedding World is awesome! the dress place there is actually helens, i would highly recommend them!!!!

i havent had any problems with the wedding center. My girls dresses came in and they weren't even that bad to deal with. You just have to go at an off time...like not sat afternoon! when they have like 150 people to deal with there is no way they can give personal attention. They weren't overly friendly but whatever...they had the best deal on my girls dresses...by far ....i think we saved (depending where you looked) $75 - 100 per dress. They came in quick and I was worried because i thought i ordered kinda late. We shall see with alterations though... not sure about wedding world HTH

one more thing.....it was the only place i could find the sample of the dress i ended up picking...NO where else had a sample to try on...they have TONS of samples.
