Hey girls! FH and I need your help! We want to start preparing our Ceremony programs as we are working on the details of our Wedding Ceremony with our pastor over the next few weeks. We want to buy just plan card stock and add some borders, possibly our Monogram and then obviously inside all the details of the ceremony. With perhaps a 'thank you' or 'in memory of' on the back of the program.
Do we just go to Michaels and get plain card stock. FH was thinking that we will print one and then take the rest to kinkos to have them printed and folded based on our on prototype. Is this a good idea? Does anyone know what this costs? FH says that the folds will look better this way since it is difficult to neatly fold card stock? Is he right? I don't know anything about this stuff lol!
Please let me know your thoughts and any step by step instructions you may have would really help! TIA!

Re: Wedding Ceremony Programs...HELP!
2010 bride here:
i am really not up to anything like this yet but i do agree with your FH that card stock is hard to fold. u should call a kinkos in your area & explain to them what you want & they can give u a price quote over the phone.
if you want to save a little bit of cash & do it yourself you can get a heavier weight paper (but not card stock) & it could look just as nice.

Re: Wedding Ceremony Programs...HELP!
I actually just finished making it last night. I printed one out today at work, and I can see how it would look 'nasty' to just fold them yourself. I have a paper cutter at home, which I can change the blade to a scorer, so I am going to try and do that so its easier to fold. I'm not sure how much Kinkos would charge, but it may be cheaper to get a scorer. I would price out the options.

I actually got mine from staples!!! They have cute ones - already folded. You just have to print them out on the comp. Mine are plain so I can put whatever I want on the front of it.....They weren't expensive at all.

I am up to the same thing . . . haven't decided what I am going to do yet. But paperpresentation.com also sells folded card stock, they have a store on 18th Street in the city too

ALl you need to do to fold the cardstock neatly is to 'score it' where you want it to fold. Doesn't take long. Kinkos doesn't usually offer scoring as a service.
