Ok, so I need some advice from you girls. I am torn about what my wedding colors should be and I am meeting with a florist tomorrow. I have always imagined my primary wedding color being red and it is definitely the color that would look best in my reception room (the carpets have red in them and the chairs are red). The problem is my wedding is in May. Give me your honest opinion, should I go with red or choose a color that is more appropriate for the summer? TIA

I think if you always wanted red, you should go for it. You could always pair it with another vibrant color like an orange or a puple (or those could be horrible matches, I'm practically colorblind, lol) and make it more tropical-looking.

I love red, I'm doing it as well. I don't know if they come in red, but red peonies would be gorgeous and very spring-like. It's what I would do if they were available in September.

Go for the red! But maybe throw in some white flowers here and there since the room has red floors and red chairs. It might end up being too much red.

i think red would be great!! I hate the idea of having to pick colors just based on seasons... your RH is gonna be designed to match your scheme and will look so amazing that people are gonna forget about what colors go with what season..and you;re gonna be inside so what the He** does it matter what the weather is outside? at least that's what i tell people when they complain ..lol. Red is always a classy color any time of year! Maybe add some pinks and whites to brighten it up? I think if it's what you envisioned you should def. have it!!!!

I think if you have your heart set on certain colors than that is what they should be, regardless of the time of year.
In the case of the color red, I think it works year-round anyway!
