Wedding colors

So I have decided I want to do purple bridesmaid dresses & a purple themed wedding....

So I bought a few things here and there.... Now I'm thinking what if we go look for dresses & I decide I like another color?? I'm kind of stuck now! I just hope I like the purple on the girls when I see it.

PS I'm prob not going BM dress shopping till next summer.

Anyone else worried?

Fortunately there are a lot of shades of purple so if you dont like one shade you may like another, or you could always put them in a color that compliments purple too...

I'm thinking a pink and black theme with bright colored flowers oranges, yellows, blues, greens etc but my bms will be in pink.. but I do worry if pink doesn't look good on someone it will throw off my whole vision!

there were a few beautiful purple themes in 2010. i remember one in particular had the purple BM dresses, the table linens were ivory and the napkins and menus were dark purple and ivory, with bling. sooooo pretty!

Don't worry... you can always use purple as an accent color if you change your mind

I'm doing a purple themed wedding too! purple is and always has been my favorite color though. my whole bedroom is purple with purple accents all over it. my phone is purple, my lights are purple, my sheets are all purple, my garbage is purple, brush, suitcase, everything! lol. I even have a purple/pink bag right now. I can't even imagine ever using another color.

oh yeah and right now even my nails are purple purple is so great because you can always go with dark or light or in between. look at davidsbridal.com they have all these cute bm dresses and in different shades of purple.

I love purple too, just never thought about it for the wedding...until now...hmmmmm...
