Sure, why not? I've seen ppl do black and darker colors in the summer. I feel whatever colors it is that you like go for it. If your afraid of it looking too dark for spring you can always lighten it up by picking lighter shades for your accent colors.

I honestly think you can do any color any time of the year.

I chose navy for july, and almost picked black, but decided I wanted some color to work with.

Go for what you want I think brown is a very classic color and would fit any time of the year.

OK I usually never crash but I got excited about your post lol. so, CRASHING! haha. I think brown can be awesome for spring! Brown and pink are a really great combo... If I were having a spring wedding I may have ended up using this combo, and using a cheery blossom theme! Cherry blossoms are really gorgeous and springy and make a really great use of brown!!!

OK, I am done crashing lol, happy planning!

I say go for it! You could pair chocolate brown with robin's egg blue. Here's a thread all about this color choice:

Good luck!

I think brown is a very versatile color and can go with almost anything. If you want to stay springy, just about every pastel color goes well with brown. But if you want to lean away from pastels, bold jewel colors such as deep purple, red, blue, and teal goes well with brown as well. HTH!

I was going to suggest brown and pink too. Even that lime green and brown looks good.
