My color is watermelon. Just not sure if i should match it up with pink or possibly orange. i see some bouquets with my color and a dark orange and it looks really pretty. who would have thought that...

i think that eggplant and navy are really pretty on the darker side
and on the lighter side
maybe light grey and peach?
I find light grey and peach to be super romantic - it was ALMOST my colors, but purple won because its my favorite color lol.
We are doing black and white dmask with royal blue accents for the stationary. BMs will be in Royal Blue as well and the flowers are going to be bright, vibrant colors.
They have a lot of soft, romantic wedding photos on there.
Some of them almost made me want to switch my colors!

When I think elegant I think black and white or black and champange. Maybe even pink and champange?

Re: wedding colors?? need help
My main color is going to be dark purple. Im still deciding on accent colors. Thinking lighter shade of purple and either sage green or fuschias and oranges. Still havent decided. Since your wedding is in June i'd stick to maybe lighter shades. But it really is whatever you like. I chose purple bcuz its my fav color.. Im picking a darker shade bcuz its a fall wedding.

I don't think mine are much of an elegant and romantic feel...but I'm using bright orange and yellow for a early Sept wedding :)

My main color is midnight/dark blue because it's my favorite color. For the secondary/accent color, I'm still debating on a shade of green(we're both Italian and Irish). My girls will be in midnight blue. I agree with some of the others-champagne is very elegant.

I wanted elegant and romantic too so I'm doing my room in all white - white linens, white table cloths, white flower centerpieces and white candles everywhere. My girls are in a deep wine color and their flowers are white - mine will be deep red

so i am looking to have an elegant and romantic feel. what are everyones colors? wedding is in june at night. help me with ideas?
You can def do a darker color in june if that is what you want -- I like eggplant, plum or navy...
If you want to go with a lighter color i would do something neutral like champagne or taupe , this way you can do darker colored flowers and accents.

My BMs dresses are in a color called platinum (sort of a dark silver) and the accent colors are antique pinks and lavenders

Im going for that exact same look and it will either be eggplant dresses and dark grey suots with cream and pale pink flowers or a butterscotch pale pink with cream and gold decor. HTH

Check out these inspiration boards
http://www.dessy.com/pantone/gallery/
You can search by keywords ie. romantic, etc. as well as color.
I got an invitation sample that was champagne and pink and thought it looked very classy.
