Wedding Confessions!

So as i was doing my secret wedding act last night i thought to myself, i know im a complete weirdo but there gotta be other girls who have 'wedding confessions'.


just a few...

not telling your fh, mom, dad, etc. how much something is reallllly costing

not telling one of the above that you are planning on getting something or already have which will come as a surpise the day of

ummm lets see, stalking your hall, like going there to ask about the cake table just to see it again

OK SO HERE IS MINE...this is so embarassing... before i was even engaged i would listen to canon in d and start to cry and maybe even a few times i did a fake aisle walk. well last night, yes i cried again listening to it and possibly did a walk with fake flowers in hand

I have been working on posing for pictures! I'm trying to figure out what angles are best and trying not to make certain faces. I look in the mirror and try to remember how my face feels when i make an ugly face

oh, and there is a day-of surprise

I put on my tiara and my earrings every now and then cuz my dress is too complicated to put on.

I also went to my RH (Vanderbilt @ Dowling College) cuz we were in the neighborhood so I could show FH and they were actually setting up for a wedding. My mom and I hid behind the bushes and my dad and FH walked up to the venue. Then I see (from behind the bushes of course) the DOC wave us to come up. THank goodness she was so accomodated and inviting! LOL
Also went back there for an open house for college Tues. It was in the ballroom. I wasn't paying attention to the speaker cuz I was busy looking around the room.

i definitely lie about how much things cost. i just don't want to hear it from my parents, FH, FMIL & my sister.

i told my brother & SIL that all the planning is done & finalized just to get them off my back.

i am getting FH a surprise for the rehearsal dinner.

my new line is, 'I'll take care of it.' especially when it comes to money. i also told a few people that i am selling drugs on the side to have enough money for the wedding. crazy part they actually believe me.

I always used to listen to that song and cry BEFORE i was engaged so I understand completely... it really is SUCH a beautiful song.

As for confessions- I have lots of surprises the day of for everyone and no one knows its so fun! LOL

Basically only FH knows that I am hell bent on having a photobooth w/lots of funny props haha...I fantasize about all the amazing pictures we'll take

BTW if she happens to read this, thank you MrsDrinkh2o its all your fault that I am this obsessed!!

same with me....fh is the only one who knows about this addiction lol

I have a LOT of wedding movies saved on my DVR. Luckily, FH has not mentioned it. Sometimes I watch them and get so teary. And then, of course, I save them for future cry-fests.

No one knows how much time is spent on this site by me.

I think about walking down the aisle and, if I'm in public, have to just shut it out of my mind. I get too emotional. How the eff am I going to hold it together, day-of?

And the kicker...

When my best friend got married, I caught the bouquet. It was white roses, and I dried them. They're hanging upside down in my room.
Sometimes...(god, I'm going to have to delete this, I'm such a freeeaaaaaaaak) I take them off the wall and pretend I'm walking down the aisle (using my hallway) and my cat always sits at the end and watches and I give him a little nod, like brides sometimes do as they walk down the aisle and notice someone they're close with.

Christ, W TF. I cannot believe I typed this.

Yeah, Canon in D is a tough one!! I am also using some music from Armageddon, I can't even think about it without crying

Maybe not a confession, but a little secret. I roll my eyes when my mom mentions Kleinfeld's to make her feel better that we don't have a 'Kleinfeld's' budget and that I wouldn't go there anyway because I think it's ridiculous

But i really DO want to go to Kleinfeld's!!!!!

I am flying my make up artist down to Miami and putting her up for the night to do my makeup for the wedding.

I also bought christian louboutin shoes for the wedding.

I am buying a second dress for my Cocktail reception.

I make FH practice out Kiss

I'll try on my wedding band with my e-ring . . . . . for a few hours and stare at my rings in the mirror when the FH is not home!

I have the cd the church gave me of the music in my car. I listen to Canon in D, and the Processional song on my ride home in traffic...probably at least 3 times a week

We have a few surprises for the day-of that I am trying to time perfectly and I keep going over the timing in my head.

I have our first dance song on my ipod...and I listen to it way too often, I'm probably going to be tired of hearing it by next year...but its I love it so much!!

I listen to our 1st song every day on the way home from work and tear up.

Also this site, noone except FH knows how addicted I am to it

my confession:

I would rather have a block party reception, no flowers, sundress, and coolers full of beer and a DJ...

I dont really know why I'm doing the wedding the way I am... lol...

OMG I do the same thing!!! the most embarrassing part that I do it even at work in the bathroom........

never need to worry about the cost of things cause I am the authority in this one, altho I didnt tell FH how much my hair flower costs lol

me and FH both put our wedding bands on and look at them, but we do it separately. the great thing we both know that the other one does it, but never do it in front of the other, just tell about it later. sooooo weird
