hey I've been discussing this for 2 days, whether i need it or not..some say yes some say you def can live wout it...after further discussion they told me just do it for peace of mind!
I am hiring a DOC just to not worry about anything the day of...I am doing everything myself, just not worrying the day of...do it, do it!!
we hired the cheeky glam girls, i dont have to worry about a thing, neither does my bridal party or family. its a win for everyone
I've never met anyone who used a wedding coordinator, although I'm really interested in it! anybody know an average cost for one?

Getting one for the Day of so I have nothing to worry about and enjoy the day.
I am getting a day of coordinator but you do not have to get one. I met with a bunch of them and the prices ranges from $350 to $1200. I am working with Christine of Piece of Cake Events and she has been great.
It is really a personal opinion whether you need one or not. I am having one just so that I have alittle more peace of mind on the day knowing someone is there to do the things I can't do. Prices for a day of can range from $300-$1000 from the people I spoke with. I am booked with A Modern Day Affair-they have been really sweet so far.

i have a DOC. if you tend to stress about the little things (or, as is my case, have a family member that does) this is a way to make it so you don't have to think about it. Also if you have a lot of little deatial, they can take care of them instead of having to have family or freinds do it. I am using Laura with LA Productions and she has been amazing.
you may not need a wedding planner for the whole thing but a DOC will really help to put your mind at ease on your wedding day. I isued Christine from Piece of Cake Events and she was a godsend!
So after reading this we booked a DOC w/ Cheeky Glam Events ! :) it was a great deal and LIW brides got $50 off.
cheeky glam for me. they rock and are worth every penny and then some.
