From what I hear, they are helpful. It depends on how many people you have and what you have going on with your wedding day. The prices range from $400 and up. I was quoted $1100 from PWP for a Saturday night for 2 people.

prices range but i booked with pwp and they charged $1100 and you get two girls. I think if you did one girl it should be around $700. I personally think its worth it because i have a lot of DIY projects that I need them to set up and I have a lot of different vendors working with eachother and PWP makes sure everything is correct and make sure they all do what they are suppose to do.

I didn't have one and I had 330 people at my reception, I didn't think I needed one. But it's a personal choice and I've heard both sides - some brides say they did nothing and others say they are very worth it.
I had some DIY projects and I just gave them to the vendor in charge. For example, I made my own photo guestbook so I just gave it to the florist who was going to put it near the decorated placecard table.
We had signature drink cards, which I gave to the caterer and she was in charge of displaying them (I told her exactly where I wanted them).
We made our own programs which I also gave to the florist and she set them up on the chairs in the ceremony room.

For me, yes my DOC is very helpful. She's contacted vendors for me and given me reports on weddings she's recently done at my hall.
DOC's range from $500 and above. My DOC package costs $550 at Exquisite Affairs Production.

plenty of DOC offer two people for a lot less then $1100. most DOC's will be around $500-$700.

My DOC is about $450 for 1 person. I didnt think I needed any more than 1. I new i had to have one. I didnt want to have to deal with any little thing that might have come up. I also want her to make sure the reception hall is set up exactly how i want it. Even though I hired her for the day of she has been so much help during the entire process.
