So my cousin got married in 2008. I am hoping to get married in 2010. I LOVED her DJ. I thought he was super great and we took his card.
Do you think I should ask her before I book it? I know some people are sensitive about these things.
We're not close, and really don't talk much except at family events...

I say book. That is a huge compliment to her. I booked vendors that I got recommendations for.
Plus you have seen them in action which is great!

I just know that some people are sensitive about people copying their vendors or ideas, especially within a family when many guests will be the same,..though I don't think ANYONE outside of her immediate family will notice it's the same DJ.

Re: Wedding copycat!
Maybe I'll just tell her after I book it. Like BTW I loved your DJ..I'm using them too!
I'm lucky my sister is so chill also. She doesn't care if I get married on the same date at her hall and literally wear her dress.

Book with them. It's just a dj...it's not like you're having it at her hall with the same BM dresses.

Re: Wedding copycat!
i dont see a reason in having to ask her permission for booking them..... if you love them do it! im sure she would feel good knowing that her guests had enjoyed the entertainment that night

Re: Wedding copycat!
I said don't be a copycat just for a laugh Use them, the way I see it, products and services are are for everyone. You are not a copycat if you pay for services you like. I dont think you should worry about your cousin, I am sure that she would not mind, or so I think.
