i just read a few a little while ago...

the superstition about the veil almost made me cry b/c the day i got my veil i wore it for like an hour and then i showed it to anyone who was willing to go 'awww how pretty!'

now it says my FH might die before the wedding b/c of it!



i hate being a superstitious person.

LOL - you're too funny. Did you read the one about the threshold? The point of carrying the bride is so that she doesn't run away before the groom can de-flower her.

These things are silly superstitions, just don't drop the wedding ring, that superstition sounded pretty serious LOL.

lol yea, i read the threshold one too. it made me giggle, although I always thought it had to do with the 'tripping over a threshold' superstition.
that one goes something like...if you trip while entering your new home, you'll forever have bad luck in it... or something like that.
so the bride was carried over the threashold so she didn't trip so that they would still be 'lucky' with bearing children.

I DONT EVEN WANT TO READ THEM BC THEN I WILL DRIVE MYSELF CRAZY!!!!!!
