Can the brides help me make a decision, I have changed my wedding date 3 times already I am still so confused about that special date. I went from 3/19/06,to 06/18/06(fathers day), to 05/29/06(memorial day) and now I'm at the sunday 05/28/06 before memorial day, what day do you think you would choose to make it comfortable for everyone and ofcourse less stresfull, please help ?

WEll, why do you keep changing it? If it's because you are allowing other people to have input, then I think I need to fill you in on something very important before you start planning your wedding, and that is: YOU CANNOT PLAN YOUR WEDDING TO PLEASE EVERYONE! You have to do what's best for you and your fiance, and EVERYONE ELSE must adjust. Hope that helped.

Re: WEDDING DATE

5/28/2006...you'll get a good price, but it will still feel like a Saturday night because everyone will be off the next day...the only downside, if you leave the next day for your HM it may be expensive to fly since it is a holiday.

well we picked our date by when the reception hall was free.....It will be a special day forever not because we chose that day but because we will have joined together that day

A lot of people don't like to attend weddings on holiday weekends only because they like to go away, but it's your day, you choose and if people don't want to come because it 'interferes' with the weekend, they're not very supportive.

Wow -- choosing your wedding date is a very special and personal thing.... some people choose a date that has sentimental value regardless of when it falls.

Some people have a budget to consider so Fridays and Sundays are viable option as well as Holidays.

Some people choose a date based on the time of year, weather, job related... etc etc.

We would need to know alot more about your situation before we could help you decide.

I say start with the following things in mind:

--Fridays and Sundays will save you money

--Look into sunset times and think about when and where you want to do your pics and where in relation to the ceremony site is the reception site (or will be)

-- consider the time of year, season, and weather you want. Winter is less expensive than summer, spring and early fall

-- consider where you want to honeymoon and what is the optimal time of year to visit that spot (for example -- carribean is not the best during our Fall season)

--what kind of gown and colors do you envision for yourself and your wedding??? IE -- Summer colors with a long sleeved gown might not look right...

Just some suggestions... good luck and give us some more info as to what dates you are considering and what your situation is as far as what you place priority on for your wedding date and maybe we can help more!
