Wedding day accessories!? Any ideas of places..

Does anyone have a good place where they found antique/vintage brooches/pins/earrings?

Check out Tri-County. They have lots of vendors that sell antique looking brooches and jewelry.

I'm planning to buy each of my girls a rhinestone brooch for their dress, and I found a few I really liked there yesterday. Pretty decent prices too.

Oh really? did you go upstairs to the jewelry section? or downstairs like wher eyou got your veil? i'm looking for a piece to add to my dress... they do have good prices I don't know why I didn't think of that!

Many girls on LIW go to Barron's in Tri-County. I have to head over there one of these days.
Also, Thomas Knoell is a popular vendor as well but his pieces are a lot more money. They are GORGEOUS though!

Both, but you're probably better off looking downstairs. Upstairs is mostly REAL jewelry, so it can get expensive. But downstairs is all fake costume stuff, so it's not too bad. I saw a couple brooches I liked for my girls around $15 each.

Barron's, where I got my veil and headpiece, also had some, but they were more in the $50 range.

oh my thats soo cheap!! In my head i'm like maybe I'll spend $100! but i'd rather not! =) thanks for the tip! My cousin got her veil in Tri-county as well.. I was going to check it out.. but I got my dress at Kleinfelds and they came out with the matching veil.. so it was like...ok.. even though it was $$

thomas knoell for sure...but def a bit pricey

macys and lord and taylor have awesome DOJ thats inexpensive

if u want REALLLY inexpensive pieces go to the 30's and 6th ave alll around there they have a gazzilion shops that dont sell to the public, but if u go on SAT or SUNDAY they are open to the public.
