Wedding Day Beauty

I went for a make up trial today and a manicure. First the make up trial went great. It looks so natural that I have been wearing it all day but my skin, eyes, cheeks all look great. I went to Janet Bari in Bayside. She`s really nice and good. She gave a lot of tips too. For the wedding, she is going to use a few lash enhancers. They look so good if they are put on right. These are helpful if you have skinny little lashes like mine (I envy all of you with long lush lashes!!) I also got a french manicure to see how I like it. It looks really nice, not fake looking at all. Next week I am going to try a natural look. They suggested layering 2 colors one natural and one pinkish. Not 'ballet slippers' but close. I had them try it on one nail and it looked good. Then I went to Lancome and bought a lipstick. I will probably try end up getting 2 or 3 more before the wedding. Janet Bari said I could wear a pink even though my hair is auburn, I was surprised but it looked good. Enough from me, I just wanted to share. 21 days left!

Laura, could you tell me more about the lash enhancers? I've called a bunch of make-up artists and no-one knows how to apply them. I am definitely interested in getting some put on so I don't have to wear a ton of mascara!

She has her own business. Her # is 718-423-4066 Her studio is at 39-24 Bell Blvd. She also has a website www.jbari.com I feel so good about how my make up will look that day after going to her. I was afraid of being too 'made up' but it came out great!

Janet Bari website trouble

There must be a problem with her website. That is definitely the web address. I couldn't get in either. Too bad...maybe it's only temporary, it was working a few days ago
