I have something similar (just reversed) It was my christianing bonnet which turns into a hankie for my wedding. So I have my something old already. I then will save it and either use if for my childrens christianing or something else. I also usually give this as a gift at christianings (did so for my godson).

It is really nice, we actually just got it out of my grandma's attic, both me and my sister have them, and they are in great shape. It has a little pink flower on it and then all white.

Michelle!

My fiance's cousin just gave me one of these at my shower this past weekend & I thought it was such a lovely idea!! I just hope I don't ruin it with make-up because something tells me that I'm going to be crying a LOT that day (I'll probably really lose it when I dance with my new hubby & then with my dad).

Tears of happiness of course, but I think this is such a great gift for a bride to be! SOmething else that I did for my best friend's bridal shower was I gave her ONE baby shoe and kept the other, I didn't tell her who it was from but attached a card that said that she would get the other shoe at the next 'shower' she has (which will be her baby shower), then she would find out who gave her the shoe, hee-hee!!
