Wedding Day Emergency Kit
Recently attended a wedding where the mother of the bride, tore the hem in her gown with the heel of her shoe.
It was towards the end of the evening, but she had to be very careful not to trip on the dance floor.
I have put together an emergency kit for the wedding day. I purchase a small plastic container with a handle and put the following items in the kit:
Cotton balls
Cotton swabs
Cotton squares
Manicure kit (with scissors)
First aid kit (with clear bandaids)
Sewing kit
Clear nail polish (for runs in stockings)
Hair freezing spray
Hair mouse
Static guard
Bobby pins (brown and black)
Hair pins (brown and black)
Aspirin - stress relief
Advil - Advanced stress relief
Deodorant
Baby Wipes
Stain remover wipes
Tide stain stick
Saline solution
Eyeglass repair kit
Cosmetic sponges
Cosmetic brushes
Antacid tablets - stress relief
Double sided fabric tape - for wardrobe malfunctions or to tape up a ripped hem.
And any other item that I think either the bride or the bridal party might need.
After the event, the kit can be used in conjunction with the newlyweds first aid kit.
