Wedding Day Expectations!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone,
I need help. I am nearing my wedding date and maybe I am just getting nervous but I think I have a problem.
We are having our wedding on Halloween. Which of course is our favorite holiday. All of our quest know what Halloween fanatics we are. We go to Salem, MA every year to celebrate, we always have Halloween parties and spook walks for all the kids in the neighborhood to come to and all. Ok my point is that I think all of my guest have these high expectations of what our wedding will turn out to be. I have a lot of Halloween-ish decor but more along the lines of a gothic haunted feel to it. I am painting all the jack-O-lanterns black and then carving them. We are using lots of candles all different shapes and sizes. The roses petals are being thrown from mini cauldrons etc.
I just feel like maybe I did not do enough, I hate disappointing people. But I needed to keep in mind that this is also our wedding. Am I just spazzing out??

yeah, I know how you feel. I want so much to live up to my guests expectations. Just be confident that it will be special no matter what, and that you have spent a lot of time and effort planning - it will be wonderful no matter what. Good luck and feel better

But everyone I speak with keeps asking me so many questions about what we area doing and what cool things are you changing. I just want to scream at them.
I want everything to be so different, I want our guest to have a different wedding experience. I hope I accomplish this.

I have that feeling sometimes too. B/c my mom is a very flashey person, and sometimes people get that idea about me, but really FH, and I are very simple people. Sometimes I feel like people want me to have, or expect me to have this big glamorous wedding, and when they come they'll get disappointed b/c thats not what FH, and I want. But then I think that this will be the day that I marry the man that I have loved for sooo long, and thats it. My thoughts only go to loving him, and finally making our family complete. So cheer up, your not the only one!
