When you booked your hair stylists for your wedding did you sign a contract???
With every big vendor we have a contract. But for hair she said she will send me a price list and it is more like an agreement.
What about everyone else? Did anyone get a formal contract? I feel kind of weary without one.

I am getting hair and makeup at my salon as are my girls and my mom. I had to sign a contract and leave a 50% deposit.

I just booked a trial with MIA and she did not ask for a deposit.....nor did i sign a contract.......Im a lil nervous about that

Nope. I just gave her a $25 deposit to hold my date and made sure that I wrote 'Wedding- 9/14/07' on the check. I don't think I have ever heard of a hair contract, unless the stylist is really expensive. HTH!

I got a contract from Mia via the internet. Had all the information on it including the date and price of my trial. It also had information such as the time I must be ready by.

I didn't sign any contracts for my hair or makeup vendors, however, all our 'conversations' were via e-mail, so I have them all saved.

when I booked i left a deposit and signed a contract! I would make sure you get one! You hair person is just like every other vendor you are hiring- they are providing a service and I would certainly make sure to have it in writing.

When I had my trial with MIA I filled out paperwork before the trial -- then I e-mailed her to tell her I wanted to book her and she gave me her address to send the deposit too -- and she told me once I received an e-mail from her it would be my contract/receipt
For Denise Venti after I had the trial with her -- she doesn't take a deposit but send you a confirmation e-mail once you decide to go with her. That's your contract.

Yes, I do have a contract for hair, but the makeup artist would not give me a contract which makes me a bit uneasy.......
