Is anyone here being charged by the hour to get their hair done on their wedding day? The hair stylist I love charges by the hour, plus transportation to and from my mother's house on Long Island from her salon in NYC. I want her to do my hair, my mother's hair and my 2 BM's hair. Is her $250/hour plus transportation way too much? Or is this standard?
I think it's standard to charge per person - I have only heard about 1 or 2 places that charge hourly. If you're getting 4 girls done - assuming you take 1 hour and and the others take 30 minutes you're paying $500+ - that's a lot.
Im actually doing trails for hair/makeup now and everyone I've looked at charges per person....I think thats way too much if its per hour. I would inquirer else where just to double check
