Only ten days until the wedding, and I'm thinking of changing my jewelry. My plan was to borrow a string of pearls from my boss and wear a pair of pearl drop earrings I already own. My gown has a crystal-embroidered bodice. It does have pearls on it, which is why I thought of pearls, but I had forgotten, I guess, that they're really teeny tiny pearls. And when I tried on my gown, I was wearing a pendant necklace, and it looked good with my dress, except that it was gold and didn't go. So now I'm thinking of getting something like these, which are Nadri, from Nordstrom. They're not terribly expensive, and I'd wear them again, I like sparkly jewelry. I just feel bad spending more money at this point! What do you guys think? And I'm wearing a tiara with small pearls, but mostly it has a lot of crystals.
Depends on wether you are wearing your hair upor down, I say if your hair is down, the new sparkly earrings, if up go with the pearls. With the pearls it will tie in the tiara

It's hard to tell in your dress pic- is the embroidery gold or silver? If it's silver, I would definitely get the new jewelry! I think it's beautiful, just the right amount of sparkle and like you said- you'll wear it again!

I really like this new set that you found! I personally feel like such a long drop of a pendant may be too much or may fall too low on your chest, so I'd go with a simple necklace. But if it's not too low, then I think it'd be ok. Love the earrings.

The close up of the pic - the necklace looks beautiful, but the picture of you in the necklace, it doesn't seem to stand out that much. It gets lost.

The embroidery is silver, even the lace is partially silver, and I'm wearing my hair mostly down. The front pieces are going to be pulled back, but I have SO much hair it will still look 'down.'

That's a different necklace, though. It has a very, very fine chain, and the pendant is mostly open. The necklace I posted is more substantial. I just like the way the pendant looks, rather than I think the pearls will look.
Maybe what I should do is order the stuff, and I can always return it if it doesn't work!

I really like the new set!! It is very pretty. I would need to see it with the dress though to know for sure which would be better. Can you buy it and try it on with the dress and then take back if you don't like it?

I think I'll look on eBay tonight and see if I can find anything similar, if not, I'll order them tomorrow. Ebay is blocked in my office so I can't search here. I'm actually glad it's blocked most of the time, I'd waste a lot of time on there if I could, so it's better not to have the temptation. I get a lot more work done. However, it would have been useful for wedding planning.
