Wedding day make up pricing?

My mother and I are going to MAC for our makeup trials within the next week or two. I was wondering about how much can we expect to pay the day of the wedding?

I was hoping to have an idea before we went so I would know if they were obviously trying to overcharge me...I've heard of this happening and would like to try and avoid it.

I think the makeup application is free but you have to buy $50.00 worth of products. I think thats if you get it done in the store. Im not sure how much it will be if the freelance artist comes to your home.

Yeah, I heard that you had to buy $50 worth of stuff. I need more makeup anyway, so that works out! Haha. I was expecting to pay between $125-175 for the day of...but I'm really not sure!

When a freelance MAC artist comes to your home, they can charge whatever they want because they are not working for MAC when coming to your home.

Some artist may require a minimum in order to travel to you. It should not cost more then $175

scotts bride is right ! my niece has her sweet 16 next friday and she is going with mac! she had to buy 50 dollars worth of makeup!
