Wedding Day MakeUp

So I havent decided if I am going to get my makeup done, or do it myself. But if I do it myself this is what I was thinking.....

I remember your dress though, maybe pink eye shadow instead of blue?

oh, but ill have on fake eyelashes as well.
hmm.. it looks blue.. thats not good! its supposed to be lavendar... i went with it b/ci wear pink eyeshadow almost everyday! so i wanted to do something alittle different. maybe i should get more of a mauve color then

i like the way u did your foundation and love the lipstick. i just think the eyeshadow might be a little too 'blue' for my taste. but thats JMHO.. If thats what you normally wear, then go with it, I am just more drawn to peaches and browns

The eyes look great, but I do agree more mauve would be better than blue. Also maybe a bit more color on your lips. You did a fabulous job though! Do you do this full time?

I think it looks great although maybe a little less on the eyes, and a tint darker on the lips.

I'd go a little deeper on the eyes if you're going to go that light on the lips........Also, if you're trying for lavendar shades, did you try to put concealer on your lids before applying the shadow ? that may help to keep the purple from looking too blue on your skin.......

Hey Jes! I think the technique is good, but I agree that a different eyeshadow shade would look better. I love the lips though.

Are you going for a subtle look? or Vegas look? If you're going for Vegas, I would go all out like someone else mentioned and get fake lashes (Andrea Mod Lashes in black from CVS for $2.99 is what I use along with Duo lash glue). Maybe a brown eyeliner too for a sort of smoky look on the upper lid?

I agree- soft pinks would be better... also I would add some liner to that- since your lips will be sheer-- go heavier on the eyes..

Well i was trying to go for a soft look.
BUT i am gonna wear fake lashes, so thats why I wanted light eye color.
I'll look for a pinky lavendar b/c I don't want it to look too blue.
I dont want to go darker on the lips for the most part, but I will definatly add a lip liner and blend it in.
I usually wear black eyeliner, but I'm not hetr. I will go with a deep brown (like Jen said) for a smokier look.... but i didnt in these pix.
